The World Peace Pagoda was constructed by the Dharma Center of Winnipeg and the Buddhist community of Manitoba under the direction of the Venerable Sayadaw U Thile Wunta of Burma. Located just beside the river, it is a beautiful and highly spiritual piece of architecture.

Studio/Office Space To Rent

St. Norbert Arts Centre has a main floor gallery to rent for special events but it also has 2nd and 3rd floor studio/office space to rent for those that are looking for location that is in a spacious country lot surrounded on three sides by the historic La Salle River (La Rivière Sale) near St. Norbert. Though the facility is just minutes from the city of Winnipeg, the site exudes the same sense of calm and seclusion as when the Trappist monks lived here. You will have a daily opportunity to enjoy mature deciduous forest extending throughout the grounds, the riverbanks, a fruit orchard, several vegetable and flower gardens along with the extraordinary remains of the tyndall stone chapel and monastery, “The Ruins.”
